Users are split into two groups: one sees version A and the other sees version B. The results are then analysed to see which one generates more conversions, clicks, or any other objective you have.

5. Run the Test and Analyse the Results

Once the test is set up, you need enough time to collect significant data. It is generally recommended to wait at least one or two weeks, depending on your website’s traffic.

Key data points to observe include:

  • Conversion rate of each version.

  • Time spent on the page.

  • Bounce rate.

  • Number of clicks on key elements.

6. Apply Changes and Continuously Optimise

If version B outperforms version A, implement the new version on your website. If there is no significant improvement, test another change and repeat the process.
